How Verification Works and Its Limits

What the check tells you
Shogram checks information associated with a Shogram Code against Platform records. A completed Result reports the Code’s registration and use status at the time of the request.
What it does not tell you
A Result does not prove the physical item is safe, effective, high quality, legally compliant or made by the seller who presents it. Labels can be copied, and records may be incomplete or incorrect. Already Used does not by itself prove counterfeiting. A missing or unsupported Code does not establish that an item is fake.
What to do next
